Looking for a truly in-SUP-erable tour? Then don't miss this Stand Up Paddle excursion to the Cinque Terre from Monterosso al Mare.
Paddle together with an expert guide in theMarine Protected Area and admire from the sea the typical terraces, hidden caves and impressive rock faces until you reach the Acquapendente waterfall.
It will be 3 fun and unusual hours that will allow you to discover the Cinque Terre from a unique perspective!
What we will do
We will meet in Monterosso al Mare (SP), 10 minutes before the departure time. Our guide will give an introductory briefing of about 20 minutes to explain the route, safety notions and give some practical tips on how to ride SUP.
We will then set off paddling along the coast between Monterosso and Vernazza, balanced on our SUP boards, and will be able to admire along the way Torre Aurora and the Convento dei Cappuccini, two iconic buildings of Monterosso.
Our itinerary will take us to the Acquapendente waterfall, a hidden corner accessible only from the sea. We will have the opportunity to stop for a swim in the transparent waters or simply relax on the SUP, enjoying the beauty of the Ligurian Sea.
Along the way, the guide will tell us details about the local history, terracing and rock formations that make the landscape of the Cinque Terre unique. The route will be about 6 km long.
The experience will last a total of 3 hours, including the briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 7 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Swimming skills are recommended.
The weight per participant must not exceed 130 kg.
Other information
The tour runs from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
A space is available at the meeting point for changing and leaving personal belongings. There is a public shower on the neighbouring beach.
Dogs are not allowed to take part in this activity.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport (Monterosso al Mare train station 5 minutes away); there is a pay car park on site.
