Full description
Discover a magical place on the coast of Cagliari and experience a feeling of total freedom as you glide peacefully over the crystal-clear waters of the Sella del Diavolo.
With this SUP excursion you will skirt the imposing limestone cliff, immersed in the scents of the sea and Mediterranean scrub, and discover sea caves, natural pools and hidden beaches inaccessible from land.
Take the opportunity to dive and snorkel in the beautiful Sardinian sea and spend a few hours in symbiosis with nature.
What we will do
We will meet at 8.30 am at the Marina Piccola marina in Cagliari. Before entering the water, the instructors will hand us ourequipment and give us a short lesson on basic SUP techniques.
When we are ready, we will leave for the excursion around the Sella del Diavolo promontory. We will discover a fantastic place, characterised by crystal-clear emerald-green waters, sheer cliffs and stacks, and shallow, sandy coves, perfect for a relaxing swim and some snorkelling.
We will approach the suggestive Grotta dei Colombi (Cave of Pigeons), reach hidden little beaches where we can take a relaxing break, and throughout the excursion, instructors will be on hand to provide us with the necessary support and tell us the secrets of this little corner of paradise.
In all, the hike will take about 3½ hours, for a total distance of at least 6 km.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and no SUP experience is needed. Good physical condition, the ability to swim and aminimum age of 12 years is required (minors must be accompanied by a parent).
Other information
This activity is bookable from March to November, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
Local weather and sea conditions may change abruptly and make the activity unfeasible. In this case, the excursion will be suspended or postponed.
The participation fee includes photos and videos of the experience, which will be uploaded to a shared folder.
The meeting point for the activity is the slipway immediately after the piazzetta at the end of the pedestrian walkway leading to the Marina Piccola marina.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
