Full description
Perhaps you have already visited the Borromean Islands. Certainly never on SUP!
A guide awaits you with board under arm and paddle in hand to take you on a discovery tour ofIsola dei Pescatori, from a new perspective. Not only that, you can also land for a walk.
A 2½-hour experience in the beautiful natural setting of Lake Maggiore.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Stresa (VB).
Here we will be met by the guide who will accompany us on this SUP adventure. We will begin with a briefing, during which the guide will give us all the information we need to enjoy this SUP experience without any worries. Board under arm and paddle in hand, we will finally be ready to venture into the waters of Lake Maggiore.
From the Lido di Carciano we will sail along the shore until we almost reach Baveno, and then begin our crossing to Isola dei Pescatori. On board our SUPs we will circumnavigate the island in a counter-clockwise direction, sail aroundIsola Bella and arrive atIsolotto degli Innamorati.
Finally, we will moor with our boards atIsola dei Pescatori and take a walk through the historic centre: during this stop of about 40 minutes we will be able to rest and have a drink, for those who wish, in one of the bars overlooking the lake.
We will then take our SUPs back to Carciano and return to the meeting point.
The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
To take part in this excursion, you must be able to swim and have a minimum of SUP experience (e.g. having already done other excursions).
The maximum weight for participation is 100 kg.
Other information
The experience is available on Saturdays from June to mid-October and is confirmed once a minimum number of 4 participants has been reached.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
Personal items can be stored in the waterproof bag provided on site by the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
