Full description
ThePortofino marine protected area is a true paradise on earth. Its crystal-clear waters, caves, and hidden beaches are gems to be discovered: aSUP excursion is the best way to do this.
The tour, led by an expert guide, includes an itinerary that will allow you to admire the panorama of beautiful Camogli, Punta Chiappa and Porto Pidocchio, wonderful places that become even more incredible when seen from the sea.
What we will do
We will meet at around 10:00 a.m. in Recco (GE). After changing in the changing rooms, we will have a briefing with the guide who will describe the route of the tour and explain the correct paddling technique. Having handed over all thenecessary equipment, we will head out to sea to begin the excursion.
At around 11am we will make the first stop in Camogli (GE ) and then head southwest towards Punta Chiappa. Along the way, we will be able to stop at the most picturesque spots for a swim.
We will also visit a beautiful cave near Camogli. Being aprotected marine area, there are not many places to stop, but our guides know these waters well and will put their experience at the disposal of the group.
After about an hour from the start, at around 12.30 pm, we will arrive at Punta Chiappa where we will stop for a packed lunch (not included and to be brought from home). Afterwards we will take advantage of the crystal-clear waters of this area to do some snorkelling, and at around 13:30 we will depart in the direction of Recco for the end of the tour.
The activity lasts 4 hours in total, of which about an hour and a half of active paddling. Along the way we will stop several times and if at some point you are tired, no problem, the guide will be able to pull you along.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to everyone in good health, from 8 to 65 years of age. It is not necessary to be an experienced swimmer, as each participant will be provided with a life jacket.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
