Full description
Set off from Santa Maria al Bagno for an exciting SUP excursion at sunset along the Salento coastline.
You will learn the basics of Stand Up Paddle, a discipline halfway between surfing and canoeing, and paddle peacefully for about 2 hours as you watch the sun go down on the horizon, colouring the sky with warm orange colours.

What we will do
We will meet at 18:00 in Santa Maria al Bagno (LE ) for a short 15-minute briefing, during which an instructor will explain to us how to stay balanced on SUP boards and paddle properly.
Afterwards, we will set off to reach our destination: Santa Caterina or Quattro Colonne, depending on weather and sea conditions.
We will paddle along with the guide on our SUP board in peace and quiet, so that we can enjoy the evocative atmosphere of the sunset and watch the sun dive into the sea.
There will be a break of about 20 minutes to regain strength and rest a bit before returning. The route is 3.5 km long in total.
The activity, including the stop and initial lesson, lasts about 2.15 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Minors must present parental authorisation.
The only requirement is to be able to swim. However, you will not move too far offshore, you will stay where the seabed is not deep.
Other information
The excursion is available every day from May to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Theitinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting place can also be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed.
Participants are allowed to take their personal items with them on the excursion, such as documents and mobile phones (placed in waterproof bags provided by the guide).
