Full description
Set off from Santa Maria al Bagno for an exciting SUP trip at sunset to Santa Caterina, a seaside resort in Salento famous not only for its sea but also for its beautiful villas.
You will learn the basics of Stand Up Paddle, a discipline halfway between surfing and canoeing, and paddle peacefully for about 2 hours as you watch the sun go down on the horizon, colouring the sky with warm orange colours.
Let yourself be enchanted by Santa Caterina, a magical place in Salento, and come with us to try SUP!
What we will do
We will meet at 18:00 in Santa Maria al Bagno (LE ) for a short 15-minute briefing, during which an instructor will explain to us how to stay balanced on SUP boards and paddle properly.
Afterwards, we will set off to reach our destination: Santa Caterina. We will paddle along with the guide on our SUP board in peace and quiet, so that we can enjoy the evocative atmosphere of the sunset and watch the sun dive into the sea.
We will then arrive at the so-called Stanza dei Bagni, a place where in earlier times noble ladies used to bathe hidden from prying eyes. Here we will take a break of about 20 minutes to regain our strength and rest a little before returning.
The route is 3.5 km in total.
The activity, including the stop and initial lesson, lasts about 2.15 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Minors must present parental authorisation.
The only requirement is to be able to swim. However, you will not move too far offshore, you will stay where the seabed is not deep.
Other information
The excursion is available every day from May to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.
Theitinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting place can also be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed.
Participants are allowed to take personal items with them on the excursion, such as documents and mobile phones (placed in waterproof bags provided by the guide).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
