If you love water and adventure, a 2-hour SUP excursion in Salento is for you.
From Santa Maria al Bagno, reach Santa Caterina on your SUP board, even if it's your first time! An expert guide will give you an initial theoretical-practical lesson to learn the basics of this discipline and you will immediately set off on a 3.5-km trip to discover the beauty of the Salento coastline.
Visit the famous Stanza dei Bagni and return home enriched by an incredible new experience.
What we will do
We will meet in Santa Maria al Bagno, in the province of Lecce. Here we will meet the instructors for a short briefing, a sort of mini-lesson lasting about 15 minutes. During this time we will be taught how to stay balanced on SUP boards and how to paddle properly.
Afterwards, we will be ready to leave for the tour in the direction of Santa Caterina. We will paddle peacefully along the coast, admiring the beautiful landscape of Salento.
We will then make a stop at the Stanza dei Bagni, one of the most characteristic places in Salento. In fact, it is a small house carved out of the rock where, in ancient times, ladies found shelter from prying eyes. They could therefore bathe in a private place, without the risk of being confused with the populace.
Here we will stop for 20 minutes to rest and recover our strength before resuming the return journey. The route is 3.5 km in total.
The experience, including the break and initial mini-lesson, lasts about 2 and a quarter hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Minors must present parental authorisation.
The only requirement is to be able to swim. However, you will not move too far offshore, you will stay where the seabed is not deep.
Other information
The excursion is available every day from May to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.
Theitinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting place can also be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed.
Participants are allowed to take their personal belongings with them on the excursion, such as documents and mobile phones (placed in waterproof bags provided by the guide).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
