Full description
Cima Grappa, at an altitude of 1,550 metres, is waiting for you to take flight on board a two-seater paraglider, in tandem with an expert pilot.
Among the clouds and ascending currents, you will also be able to pilot the paraglider, conditions permitting, while observing the splendid views that open up from here over the Dolomites and the entire Veneto region and beyond, as far as Slovenia and the Apennines.
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is in Borso del Grappa, in the province of Treviso, at the foot of the Grappa Massif and just a few kilometres from Bassano del Grappa.
Here you will meet your pilot and companion for this unforgettable experience in the Veneto skies. After a 40-minute drive in a minibus, you will reach the summit of the historic Cima Grappa, at an altitude of 1,550 metres, the ideal take-off point to fully experience this paragliding flight.
Before take-off, your pilot will make sure to give you the basic information you need to fly in complete safety. All it will take is a short run downhill before you find yourself taking off securely harnessed to the pilot: it will be a breathtaking moment that you will remember forever.
You will have the entire Veneto plain at your feet: if the sky is clear enough, you will be able to see from the Brenta river to the Piave river, the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, the Euganean and Berici hills, and even Venice and its lagoon. The flight will last between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
Thelanding is scheduled at the initial meeting point, several metres below. Here it will be time to say goodbye, not before receiving your flight baptism certificate, a gadget, along with photographs and souvenir videos.
The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours, taking into account transfers and the pre-flight briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for people with good physical fitness and agility, who are able to complete the short run to take off.
The recommended age is 16 to 65. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by a parent. If you are over 65, please contact us: the pilot will have to assess the feasibility of the experience before booking.
Participants must weigh between 50 and 95 kg for males, and between 50 and 75 kg for females.
Other information
The activity is available from June to October, subject to weather conditions.
Important: paragliding is an activity strongly influenced by the weather. If the weather forecast is not suitable, the flight will be cancelled or postponed to a new date by the pilot for safety reasons.
Participants will receive photographs and videos, a gadget and a flight christening of their experience, included in the cost of the activity.
If, due to weather conditions, the flight should last less than planned, participants will receive a complimentary high definition video montage with music of the flight, taken with a GoPro camera and shared via email in the days following the experience.
Simultaneous flights of up to 4/6 people are possible, subject to pilot availability.
There is a service and refreshment point near the landing site.
