Have you always dreamed of getting on a surfboard and experiencing the thrill of your first wave? This is your chance!
Come to Arenzano, on the beautiful Ligurian coast, for an introductory flat-water surfing lesson. A complete 1 hour and 30 minute experience awaits you, combining theory, technique and practice in the sea, with the guidance of a certified instructor .

What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the indicated time in Arenzano (GE), where we will be welcomed by one of the instructors.
After introductions, we will be shown the spot where the lesson will take place and the characteristics of the stretch of sea we will be entering will be explained to us, with particular attention to safety. We will also learn the basic rules of surfing and good practices to follow, along with some interesting facts about the local surfing community.
Afterwards, we will receive our equipment: wetsuit and surfboard, and change in the changing rooms. Before entering the water, we will spend about ten minutes warming up and doing some preparatory exercises: we will see how to balance on the board, how to switch from lying to standing position, and how to move correctly.
We will then enter the sea and put into practice what we have learnt. In flat water, perfect for beginners, we will try to handle the board in different ways and perform the take off (standing up) with the help of the instructor.
Once the session in the sea is over, we will return to shore for a short debriefing where we can share our impressions. Finally, we will change and conclude the activity.
The activity will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 6; children under 18 can participate with a signed release from a responsible adult.
It is necessary to know how to swim to participate in the lesson. No previous experience is required.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Changing rooms with hot showers and a storage room for personal belongings are available at the meeting point.
The cost also includes compulsory membership of the Italian Surfing Federation (20 €).
The meeting point has free parking and is not easily accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
