Would you like to learn to surf in a fantastic location on the Roman coastline and in the company of a top team?
Join our 2-hour surfing lesson in Ostia and put yourself to the test on the board! You can learn the main theoretical and practical concepts of surfing from scratch, and then get into the water to challenge the waves.
Or, if you already have experience, you can refine your technique to improve your paddling, posture and pick up speed on the waves together with an instructor. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at Lido di Ostia at the place and time indicated in the booking, where we will meet thesurf instructor.
The lesson will be set according to the participant's level.
Beginners will have the opportunity to learn the first theoretical and practical notions of surfing: what a board is, how to handle it, knowledge of currents, winds and wave direction. After the theory part, we will already get into the water with the board to ride the waves!
For the more experienced, we will deepen and refine our technique. We will discover how to pick up speed on the waves and how to improve posture and paddling techniques.
The duration of the lesson is 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or have signed authorisation. Swimming skills are required.

Classes are held throughout the year, weather permitting.
Attention! Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
The lido is equipped with showers, a lawn and all kinds of amenities. There are no lockers, but personal items are kept in the office upon request. The meeting point is easily accessible by metro from the centre of Rome.
Thanks to the annual membership card, participants will also have free access to the bathing establishment from May to September.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
