Let's face it: nature is not mad at us.
This course is not about surviving nature, but about living with it by rediscovering the pleasure of simple things: lighting a fire, walking in a forest and sleeping under the stars.
In the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, two days of outdoor life await you in the company of an environmental guide, including sensory experiences, orientation tests and moments of authentic sharing.
What we will do
The appointment is at 9 a. m. at the meeting point in Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI) . Awaiting us will be the environmental guide who will accompany us on this survival course through the hills and oak and deciduous forests of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines.
After a material check and a get-to-know-you moment, we will move towards the starting point of the trek that will take us to our camp. We will learn the basics of orientation with map and compass and experience group challenges and sensory walks, to train our senses and slow our pace. Along the way we will discover how to read the landscape and how to find our direction, not only on the map!
In the afternoon we will reach the spot where we will set up camp: we will light a fire, prepare a shared trapper-style dinner and enjoy a night walk in the dark, immersed in the sounds of the forest. We will spend the night in tents or bivouacs, surrounded only by the rustle of leaves, under a sky dotted with stars.
After breakfast by the fire, Sunday morning will continue with meditation activities, orienteering and new sensory experiences in nature, until we return to the meeting point.
The activity will last a total of two days, from 9 a. m. on Saturday to 1 p. m. on Sunday.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors may participate if accompanied by an adult.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable as a first survival course.
Other information
The experience takes place on Saturdays from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants. It also takes place in the event of slight bad weather.
The fee includes the environmental guide, dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and materials for the activities. Packed lunch, sleeping bag and sleeping mat are not included.

On Sunday, after the conclusion of the course, it is possible to join a lunch in a nearby restaurant (optional, to be paid on site) ; if interested, please contact the guide after booking.
There is free parking on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
