Do you feel more comfortable with a smartphone than a Swiss Army knife? Don't worry, it's normal. But know that you might discover you have a survivor side you never imagined.
In Morra, a hamlet of Città di Castello, a two-day survival course in an unspoilt forest awaits you. Guided by an expert survival and bushcraft instructor, you will learn how to build a shelter, light a fire, get your bearings and face the night under the stars.

What we will do
The appointment is at 08: 00 at the meeting point in Morra, a hamlet of Città di Castello. From there, the instructor will accompany us in his off-road vehicle to the forest where the survival course will take place, about 4 km away.
After an introductory briefing, we will be able to begin the activity through the various modules that will form our "survival baggage": basic knots, the construction of a shelter with tarp, orientation techniques, and a few hints about water purification. The teachings will vary depending on the time of year and the characteristics of the group, to ensure an engaging experience.
We will then focus on the architecture of fire: how to light it, maintain it and use it in the kitchen to prepare meals trapper-style (including two lunches, dinner and breakfast) . When the sun goes down, we will prepare dinner together and spend the evening in conviviality in front of the fire, before sleeping in the forest under the tarp or in the shelter we will have made.
The next day we will wake up with a breakfast prepared by the instructor and go over the notions we have learned, adding first aid techniques in a forest environment. After lunch, we will disassemble the base camp and return to the meeting point between 15: 00 and 16: 00.
The activity will last a total of 2 days, from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon.
Who it is aimed at
Experience is recommended from 18 years of age.
No previous experience is required, but good physical condition is recommended.
Other information
The experience takes place from November to May on Saturdays and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
The experience also takes place in the event of slightly bad weather, at the organiser's discretion.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the instructor at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
For the night, each participant must bring his/her own sleeping bag.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
