Full description
A Rambo weekend, but in a local version!
Learn to cope with everything nature has to offer on this 2-day survival course in the Monti Sibillini Park, including orientation skills, building a shelter and lighting a fire.
Sit in front of the bonfire for a barbecue under the stars and spend the night in the forest. It will be a bit like a survival film, but incredibly real!
What we will do
The meeting point is on Saturday at 9 a. m. in the surroundings of Amandola (FM) , in the Monti Sibillini National Park. The exact meeting point will be communicated by the instructors, also depending on the weather conditions.
From there, with a short transfer, we will reach the wooded area where our adventure will begin. After getting to know the group and the initial briefing, we will learn how to read the terrain, how to choose a suitable bivouac site, and how to build a shelter, with a tent or hammock, depending on the season.
We will also learn the basics of orientation with compass and map, alternative communication techniques in nature and self-rescue. In the middle of the day we will take a short break for a packed lunch, then resume activities in the afternoon, alternating between theory and practice.
In the evening we will light a fire and, amidst chatter and laughter, enjoy a group barbecue (included) . Then, all in our own hut or hammock, we will spend our night in the forest, with only the sounds of nature to surround us.
The second day will begin with breakfast and continue with practical lessons on water filtration, wild herb recognition and camp dismantling with an environmentally conscious approach.
We will conclude the experience in the early afternoon of Sunday, around 15: 00, with a return to the starting point. The total duration of the activity will be 2 days.
