Full description
Experience first-hand the thrill of survival in the woods with your children in a 50-hectare nature park near Alessandria, Piedmont.
Learn with them to sleep on a bed made by you from logs and lanyards, study a map and create the route to safety together.
You will be guided by national survival instructors and you won't have to think about anything: the necessary technical material and equipment is provided by us.
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in Castelnuovo Bormida (AL). Here we will meet the instructors and begin to get in tune with the forest in order to set up the bivouac.
After a 30-minute briefing in which the survival course programme is explained, we will begin our descent into the abyss using mountaineering techniques.
We will try orientation trekking in the forest. We will learn how to make a map, special camouflage and escape techniques.
The experience is rounded off with other important notions including:
- water purification
- fire lighting techniques
- orientation with the stars

The camp is equipped with two huts in which to store belongings. Cars can be left in the vicinity of the camp.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
