Full description
Are you on holiday in the mountains, alone or with your loved ones, or running with the dog, and do you think you would know how to handle an emergency situation without losing your temper? Would you know how to be helpful to yourself and others?
With the All in One Day Survival Course you will experience full immersion with instructors from the AICS-recognised Avventura Team Survival School.
You will experience first-hand what it means to have to react to unforeseen events with only your own strength, to use your surroundings to your advantage by learning how to deal with critical and potentially dangerous situations.
Spend a day with survival instructors certified by the National Sports Instructor Diploma to understand how much you know and how much you still need to know.
What we will do
The activity takes place in a 50-hectare natural park near Alessandria, in Piedmont. This environment is perfect for simulating different situations in which to test and improve survival techniques. The course will last the whole day from 09:30 to 17:00.
The course is designed to provide in the short time available all the information necessary to understand if we are prepared for emergencies and to organise ourselves in the best possible way to manage them should they occur.
We will abseil with rope from rock faces, use knots and ligatures to build tools and rudimentary structures to use as shelter and shelter by building a bivouac.
We will learn how to light and manage a fire, purify water, demonstrate techniques to use to procure food and how to recognise edible herbs as well as the basics of medical emergencies.
Guided by national survival instructors, you won't have to think about anything: all the necessary equipment is provided by us.
