Full description
Take an activity in close contact with the environment and learn the basic techniques of wilderness survival with a day completely dedicated to bushcraft and survival.
An experienced instructor will teach you how to orient yourself in the forest, how to build an emergency shelter, how to light a fire using rudimentary methods, how to abseil with a rope, and much more.
The activity will take place in San Giacomo degli Schiavoni, in the province of Campobasso, is open to young and old, and is an original and fun way to discover the Molise region.
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in San Giacomo degli Schiavoni (CB), where we will meet the instructor and the rest of the group and head to base camp. We will first hold an introductory briefing on the world of survival and the activities planned for the day.
These will include orientation techniques, starting a fire and building an emergency shelter. Then we will prepare lunch using trappeur cooking methods, which involve cooking over a fire and using rudimentary utensils.
Afterwards, we will learn how to prepare the perfect emergency kit, how to overcome natural obstacles by abseiling, and many other things that may come in handy in our explorations of nature.
The activity will end at around 16:00.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone. Children from 8 years of age (accompanied by an adult) can also participate.

This activity can take place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants, subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.
