What would you do if you found yourself alone in the middle of nature, with no phone, no comfort and only one resource: yourself?
If your first reaction is 'I'd call for help'... don't worry, you've come to the right place.
With the one-day Survival Experience in the Ticino Park you will discover that there is much more inside you than you imagine. You will face trials, discover skills you didn't know you had and learn how to cope in the wild... without even needing a GPS.
What we will do
We will meet at 9.30 a.m. in Motta Visconti, on the outskirts of the Ticino Park, and start the day with a short introductory briefing: we will get to know each other, share goals and expectations about the experience.
From there, we will walk a few minutes to our base of operations: an isolated clearing where we will set up camp together. We will then test ourselves with the first survival techniques: lighting fires, building shelters, tying camp knots and using equipment.
At lunch, a trappers' kitchen will be waiting for us: we will cook outdoors, with genuine products and with respect for any intolerances. No fast food, just slow survival.
In the afternoon, we will go into skills unlock mode : we will try our hand with a bow, knife or blowpipe, practisesensory orientation and learn to work together in a group. There will also be space for the mind: along the river we will practise relaxation techniques and guided visualisation to awaken our awareness.
The day will end around 16:30 with a final debriefing and lots of stories to take home.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 8 years and above. For minors, if unaccompanied, a signed parental authorisation is required.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first survival course. To participate in the activity, it is sufficient to be in good health and have no physical impediments.

The experience can be booked throughout the year.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is free parking on site.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, you can report them by filling in the form you will receive from the guide a few days before the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
