Legends say that the god of the winds Aeolus is said to be hiding in the mountains of Cesi, in Umbria. Could this be why paragliding here is so special?
Experience the thrill of your first tandem flight with an experienced pilot and fly over the town of Cesi and the Terni basin for 20 minutes. Who knows, from above you might even catch a glimpse of Aeolus' hiding place!
What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting place in Terni, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here you will meet the pilot who will accompany you on this experience and you will reach the take-off point, located at an altitude of 675 m, together with him. The shuttle transfer will last about 15 minutes and will take you to the Observatory, near the Sant'Erasmo Refuge on the Cesi mountain.
Once you reach the take-off area, the pilot will make sure that the wind conditions are optimal for the flight, then you will proceed to theharnessing and briefing. A short run down will be all that is needed to take off. In no time you will be airborne, firmly harnessed to the pilot- a heady feeling that is difficult to describe in words!
The flight will last about 20 minutes and will allow you to admire from above the village of Cesi, the town of Terni in the basin at your feet, and, in certain special wind conditions, even the Marmore Falls. In agreement with the pilot, you can try to hold the controls of the paraglider for a few moments.
Thelanding will take place near the initial meeting point (in case you land further away, the shuttle will be available for recovery).
The experience will last about 1½ hours, including transfers, briefing and 20-minute flight.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Minors may fly with a signed parental release.
Participants must weigh between 40 kg and 80 kg.
No experience is required; it is sufficient to be able to take a short ride with the pilot.

The activity can be carried out all year round.
Important: paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. In the event of bad weather and/or adverse conditions of any kind, the flight may be postponed or modified at the pilot's sole discretion.
Theactual flighttime may vary depending on weather and wind conditions.
A GoPro video is included in the cost: please remember to bring an SD card (not included) on which the pilot can deliver it to you.
Onrequest, subject to availability of the pilots, simultaneous flights up to a maximum of 3 people will be possible.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
