Full description
Are you a flying enthusiast or have you always had the dream of flying in your drawer? Either way, you absolutely cannot miss the magnificent panorama of the Gulf of Policastro from above with a free flight on a tandem paraglider.
You will fly in tandem with an expert instructor, taking off from a sea-facing high ground and landing gently on Acquafredda beach. In flight, all you have to do is enjoy the thrill and lose yourself in the deep blue.
You will admire the coast of Maratea and its silvery waters from above, travelling carried by the wind. During the descent you will experience the sensation of being supported by the ascending currents and feel free with a seagull.
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking in Praia a Mare (CS). Upon arrival, the pilot will welcome you and, together with him, you will reach the take-off point.
Depending on the weather conditions, the pilot will decide from which point you will take off: you can opt for the lowest take-off point at an altitude of 60 m, which can be reached with a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes, or for the highest one at an altitude of 500 m, where you will arrive by off-road transfer (included).
Once at altitude, it will be time to get ready: you will put on your harness, put on your helmet and listen to the final instructions for a safe flight. Then it's just a few steps... and you're in the air!
You will fly for about 15-20 minutes, suspended between sky and sea. You will be able to admire the Calabrian coastline, the profile ofDino Island and the nuances of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Everything will be captured on video (included) so you can relive every emotion on the ground too. Finally, you will land gently on the beach.
The experience, between briefing, ascent and flight, lasts a total of about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 12 years old and up. No experience is required and you must have a body weight between 40 and 100kg.
Pregnant women and people recovering from surgery cannot participate. Minors must have signed authorisation from both parents.

The activity takes place all year round.
The paragliding flight is closely related to weather conditions and may be subject to schedule changes or may even be cancelled at the take-off point, at the instructor's sole discretion. The timetables established at the time of booking may also be shifted by a few hours if the currents are not optimal.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
