Full description
Experience a unique tandem paragliding experience with an experienced instructor in the Abruzzo Apennines, in the province of Chieti.
Let yourself be carried away by the ascending wind currents and savour an extraordinary sense of freedom as you admire the panoramic spectacle of the world from above.
From take-off to landing, it will be a rollercoaster of emotions , and once you get your feet back on the ground, you will already be itching to get going again!
What we will do
The meeting with the pilot will take place at the Colle Pizzuto district, in the municipality of Schiavi di Abruzzo, at an altitude of more than 1,100 m, in the province of Chieti. That will also be the landing point for the paraglider, while for take-off we will travel by car until we reach an area at least 400 m above the landing site.
At that point, we will conduct a pre-flight briefing. The pilot will explain to us how the paraglider works and explain all the rules of behaviour to fly safely. Then, we will put on our helmet and harness and, securely attached to the pilot, we will be ready to take off.
All it takes to take off is a few steps downhill and, in no time at all, we will be in the air! The scenic flight will last between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the day's updrafts , which will support the paraglider by slowing its descent to a soft landing.
In total, the activity takes about 1 hour, including travel and preparation.
Who it is aimed at
Paragliding is an activity for everyone. No previous experience or specific skills are required. You can fly from 6 years of age and up, with a body weight between 20 and 120 kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round, depending on the weather and the pilot's availability.
Paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather conditions. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the time and course after consulting the latest weather report.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The transfer from the meeting/landing point to the take-off point can be made by the pilot's car or by the participant's car (to be agreed on the day according to requirements). The two points are approximately 10 minutes apart and are connected by a paved road.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or present written authorisation.
The video of the experience can be purchased by selecting the "flight + video" options when booking; a micro sd card is included.
