Are you looking for aunique and unforgettable experience to experience for yourself or to give as a gift to someone special? A tandem parachute jump is the right idea!
Thrill and adrenaline will be the main ingredients of this adventure, from the moment you board the plane to reach an altitude of 4,200 m until the moment you freefall over the skies of Syracuse.
Then the parachute will open and, as you continue your descent at a slower pace, you will admire the most incredible view of your life: the coastline of eastern Sicily plunging into the blue Mediterranean Sea.
Flying in tandem with a professional instructor and with the best equipment, you will carry out the activity in the utmost comfort and safety, without needing any specific training.
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at the Syracuse skydiving school. After the welcome, you will carry out a theoretical briefing with the instructors on the procedures, instructions, and modalities of the tandem jump. Then you will be equipped and harnessed and, finally, you will board the plane to reach an altitude of 4,200 metres in about 15 minutes.
Ready to launch? It will take some courage to jump into the void, but together with your instructor you will have nothing to fear. The free fall will follow, 50 seconds that you will remember forever: your pulse racing, the shivers all over your body, theadrenalin that will make you scream with joy and excitement until theparachute opens.
At this point, the speed decreases, the pulse slows down and the adrenalin gives way to the wonder of the landscape. After the free fall, a parachute flight of about 8 to 10 minutes will await you, during which you will enjoy the unique panorama of the city of Syracuse and its beautiful sea, until the soft landing.
The activity lasts a total of about 1 hour and ends with your return to the skydiving school.
Who it is aimed at
Parachute flying is a suitable experience for 16-year-olds and up, requiring no special skills or physical endowments.
The permitted weight to participate is between 40 and 100 kg.
Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round, under favourable weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, the instructor may decide to suspend or postpone the activity, at his or her sole discretion.
For those who wear glasses, it is recommended, but not obligatory, to wear contact lenses.
It is possible to purchase the professional photo and video service in full HD on site at an additional price of €70.
The skydiving school has parking, toilets, a snack bar and a wi-fi area where non-flying companions can wait and watch the jump.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
