This experience takes you on a unique journey to discover the history of the Roccascalegna castle and the flavours of local products. At the TAP room of the Delphin Microbrewery, in fact, an unmissable tasting of craft beers awaits you, accompanied by a typical Abruzzo aperitif.

What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Roccascalegna (CH), where our guide will be waiting to lead us on a discovery of this magnificent artisan village.
Our adventure will begin with a walk through the streets of the village, dotted with craft workshops that bear witness to the wealth of Abruzzo's resources. After exploring the surroundings for a while, and hearing a few anecdotes about the history of the place, we will continue the tour by climbing up to the castle of Roccascalegna, which stands atop a rocky outcrop.
During the visit to this ancient medieval fortress, we will immerse ourselves in an exciting atmosphere, thanks to the stone walls, loopholes, large gardens and drawbridge that characterise the structure.
After about 1 hour, we will return to the village and stop at the Delphin Microbrewery TAP room for a delicious aperitif, accompanied by a tasting of craft beer (both included) . The guide will tell us the story of this brewery, established in 2013 with the aim of creating products that make the most of the flavours and aromas of the Abruzzo region. He will also let us taste three different beers (each 10 cl) , as well as a series of typical, locally produced products (usually ham, cheese, facaccia and meatballs) .
It will be a real journey into the historical, gastronomic and beer culture of Abruzzo, which will enchant us!
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Craft beer tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Children under the age of 6 participate free of charge: please contact the organisers at the contact details on your booking confirmation email to indicate their attendance.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The TAP room is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility. Visits to the castle, however, are not possible.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants. The experience will also take place in the event of bad weather.
Attention! When booking, it will be possible to select the Adults option (reserved for those over 18 years of age who wish to accompany the aperitif with a beer tasting) , Companions (reserved for those over 18 years of age who wish to accompany the aperitif with a non-alcoholic drink) and Minors (reserved for minors from 6 to 17 years of age - 0 to 6 years of age participate free of charge) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
