If we were asked to describe Irpinia through taste, we would say that it has that beer produced in the Birrificio Agricolo Serrocroce.
Here, each bottle is filled only with raw materials from the territory and cultivated on the family's land, to guarantee exceptional quality.
During this experience, you can discover the production process behind their craft beer, taste one of their labels, and conclude with a themed lunch in the historic centre of Monteverde, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 11 a. m. at the Serrocroce Agricultural Brewery in Monteverde (AV), in the heart of Irpinia. We will be welcomed by the agronomist and master brewer, who will lead us on a discovery of the company and its philosophy.
We will start by visiting the hop garden and the cereal fields, to get a close look at where the raw materials are born and discover with which organic cultivation techniques the beer is produced.
We will then move on to the farm brewery, where we will learn about the production process, from cooking the malt to maturing in the tanks, and finally to the cellar.
At the end of the tour, we will be offered a glass of craft beer to taste accompanied by local snacks such as cold meats, cheeses, taralli and even beer jelly!
The gastronomic experience will continue at the 'Il Giardino' restaurant in the historic centre of Monteverde, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Here we will be served a fixed menu lunch with a 'beer' theme that includes: , accompanied - of course - by another glass of beer.
The experience will last about 2 hours , depending on our stay at the restaurant.

Beer tasting is reserved for adults only.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants. For groups of at least 8 people, it is possible to organise the visit on other days on request.

Dogs are not allowed during the experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
You can reach the restaurant by car or hire the brewery's electric bikes , which are available free of charge for 1 hour.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
