Have you ever tasted a Brunello fresh from the barrel?
In Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, a historic winery awaits you where Tuscan tradition meets a completely green soul. In a one-hour tasting session, you will taste three organic wines that tell the story of the territory in different ways and, if you wish, a board with local cold cuts and cheeses.
An expert will accompany you among aromas, curiosities and organic wine-making techniques, to discover what makes a glass of Montalcino so special.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Colsereno winery in Montalcino, a family business where production is completely organic and each bottle is made from hand-picked grapes. Here tradition and technology coexist: exposed beams, oak barrels and modern equipment work in perfect balance to create the great wines of Montalcino.
After a brief welcome, we will be shown the winemaking area and move to the cellar, among barrels and tonneaux. During the guided tasting, we will taste 3 organic wines
- a young Brunello di Montalcino tapped directly from the barrel;
- a Rosso di Montalcino D. O. C. from the vintage;
- a Brunello di Montalcino D. O. C. G. from the previous vintage.
Glass after glass, the expert will guide us through the aromas, curiosities and secrets of organic wine-making. And for those who wish, there is the possibility of adding a board of local cured meats and cheeses (optional).
In about 1 hour of experience you will have tasted, learnt and - above all - understood why in Montalcino wine is not only a tradition, but a way of life.
Who it is aimed at
The wine-tasting is reserved for adult participants only. Any accompanying minors or non-tasting adults are welcome; if they wish to eat, a small extra charge will be added as required.
The facility is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

The experience takes place from March to November except Sundays and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
At the time of purchase, you can choose to add a platter of cold meats and cheeses (for 2 people); select the corresponding option in the booking box. For those with food intolerances or requirements, alternatives are available on request (contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate these) .
Small dogs are allowed.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is ample free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
