Drinking myrtle here has a whole other flavour.
And no, this time it is not a cliché because in Castiadas, the landscape becomes part of the tasting! In fact, you will have the opportunity to sip top-quality spirits surrounded by the 8 hectares of the largest myrtle grove in Europe, with the Mediterranean scrub smelling all around you.
To complete the experience, a walk through the rows of vines and a sommelier ready to help you discover all the secrets of CHERVU spirits!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the CHERVU farm in Castiadas, province of South Sardinia. We will be welcomed by our guide and founder sommelier, who will lead us on a sensory journey to discover the premium spirits of Sardinia.
We will begin our journey with a 30-minute walk in what is considered the largest myrtle grove in Europe: we will walk through 8 hectares of myrtle, touching the plants and breathing in the fragrant air of the Mediterranean maquis.
During the walk, the guide will tell us the history of the farm and the meaning of the name CHERVU (deer, the wild fauna element symbol of this territory) , the various uses of myrtle along with mastic and olive trees in the artisan sector and in the production of liqueurs and distillates, and how the entire project is based on a model of sustainable and circular economy.
Afterwards, we will move to a dedicated tasting area, either directly between the myrtle rows or under a sheltered canopy (depending on the season) . Under the expert guidance of the sommelier, we will taste the complete line of CHERVU spirits (20 ml per glass) including the prestigious and award-winning Riserva di Mirto. Taste after taste, we will discover what makes these special distillates made from the best raw materials grown on the estate.
The tasting will be accompanied by samples of typical local products, which will enhance the aromatic profiles of the distillates. Upon request, it will be possible to request a premium distillate tasting combined with a Fever Tree tonic and create our own customised drink (not included) .
The experience will last approximately 90 minutes in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 18 and up. Minors may participate on request: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to advise them of your presence.
The experience is accessible to people with mobility problems: the terrain is flat with slight depressions, also suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
