Incredible but true, this time you can have a taste of all three: all you have to do is book this tasting of beers from the Birrificio Agricolo Pagus, in an area straddling Lake Iseo and Valcamonica, where the raw materials that give life to a farm beer that will leave you speechless are cultivated with love.
What we will do
The appointment is at 17: 00 at the Pagus Agricultural Brewery, located in Darfo, a hamlet of Boario Terme (BS) . Here we will get acquainted with our guide , who will seat us inside the tasting room, called Area Pagus.
The experience will begin with an introductory explanation in which we will learn how real farmhouse beer is brewed, with an in-depth look at the raw materials that are cultivated in the farm's own fields.
We will get to know barley closely through a sensory workshop involving the tasting of 3 types of malt (regular, roasted and caramelised) , after which we will move on to an in-depth discussion of hops.
Then it will be time for the actual tasting : we will taste 3 different types of beer (varying according to seasonality) including, for example, weiss, the agricultural beer par excellence, brewed 100% with self-grown materials. In combination with the beers, we will be offered a small platter with samples of 0 km salami and cheese from local producers.
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over, as beer tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Any accompanying under-age participants will be provided with organic fruit juice.
The entire facility is wheelchair-accessible as well as stroller-accessible .

The activity takes place all year round on Saturdays and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dogs are allowed if provided with a leash and muzzle.
