In a barley field Sting found the inspiration for his 'Fields of Gold'. In the Alto Sebino , on the other hand, the inspiration came for a truly amazing agricultural beer!
The place where the magic happens is the Birrificio Agricolo Pagus, which for years now has been producing its craft beers with raw materials grown on the farm itself.
If you are curious to try them, we look forward to this guided tasting with a visit to the hop garden!
What we will do
The appointment is at 15: 00 at the Pagus Agricultural Brewery, located in Darfo, a hamlet of Boario Terme (BS) .
Here we will get acquainted with the guide who will introduce us to the world of agricultural beer with a walk through fields of barley and wheat and among more than 600 hop plants, used for the production of the 8 types of beers that are brewed with at least 51% of the raw materials grown here.
Afterwards, depending on the weather conditions, we will move under the porch or into the Pagus Area for tasting.
We will taste four different types of beer, divided between 'classic' (such as the 100% self-produced weisse ) and 'seasonal'. The beers will be accompanied by a board of local 0 km products.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over, as beer tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Any accompanying under-age participants will be provided with non-alcoholic alternatives.
The entire facility is wheelchair-accessible as well as stroller-accessible .

The activity takes place from May to August and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
