In Campofilone, we are waiting for you for a walk among the olive trees of the Mondomini estate, suspended between the Adriatic and the Apennines, where you will discover how superior quality organic olive oil is made at the Valle dell'Aso eco-museum.
To end on a high note, you will test your senses with a technical tasting of EVO oil, accompanied by freshly baked bread!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Mondomini estate in Campofilone (FM), in the beautiful setting of the Val d'Aso. We will be welcomed by the guides and owners of the company Livia and Stefano.
We will begin the tour with a walk among the olive trees on the estate. Admiring a panorama that sweeps from the sea to the mountains, we will learn to distinguish the different cultivation systems, from classic to intensive organic, closely observing the growth phases and pruning techniques of the trees.
We will then continue with a visit to the Aso Valley eco-museum housed within the facility. Here we will explore the history of the area and the different types of oil produced by the company, delving into the local olive oil culture and the production cycle that leads to the creation of an extra virgin olive oil of excellence.
It will then be time to move to the shop for sensory exploration. We will learn the correct technique for tasting EVO oil, identifying its characteristic aromas and learning to perceive its grassy and fruity nuances, as well as the classic notes of bitterness, spiciness and fruitiness that define its profile.
The experience will end with the tasting of 3 types of oil, served with fresh bread to enhance each of their properties.
The experience will last about 1. 5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no minimum age limit. Children up to 2 years of age participate free of charge.
The facility is accessible to wheelchair users and those with pushchairs, limited to the museum and tasting room areas.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants. From April to September, activities take place in the late afternoon, while from October to March they are scheduled in the morning.

At the end of the visit, it will be possible to purchase products from the estate shop, taking advantage of a special 10% discount.
