Tuscany is famous for many things, and oil is certainly one of them.
During this tasting , however, the tasting will not be limited to the precious 'yellow gold': inside the barrique cellar of the Palagetto winery in San Gimignano, you will in fact have the opportunity to savour the Tuscan oil produced by the oil mill in all its aromatic nuances and a tasty light lunch.

What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the Palagetto winery, in the hills of San Gimignano (SI).
You will be welcomed by a member of staff, who will accompany you to the cellar's barrique cellar, a fascinating place where the wines rest and where the wine tasting and lunch will take place.
After a brief introduction on the history of the winery and the philosophy behind their wine production, the guide will also explain to you the process of transforming oli ves into olive oil, exactly as it is done in the winery's mill.
You will then begin a guided oil tasting, in which you will have the opportunity to taste the strong flavour of real Tuscan EVO oil. Following this, you will be served a light lunch consisting of a chickpea hummus board , bruschetta with basil and garlic flavoured EVO oil, pinzimonio and cheese samples; forest-scented pasta with truffle oil , and finally for dessert cantucci and passito wine. Lunch will be accompanied by 2 glasses of white wine from the cellar.
The experience will last approximately 1½ hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone; wine tasting is only for participants over 18 years of age.
The facility is wheelchair accessible.
