Fancy discovering the secrets of Emilian excellence? In Langhirano (PR), in the heart of the Food Valley, an unforgettable sensory journey awaits you amidst the aromas of Parma Ham and the unique flavour of Parmigiano Reggiano.
At Salumeria Ugolotti, you can immerse yourself in the local tradition by choosing between two options: a guided tour with tasting to discover the production and maturing processes, or guided tasting alone to focus on the pleasure of the palate.
Both experiences include tasting cold cuts and cheese accompanied by a glass of local wine!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Langhirano (PR), in the setting of the Parma hills famous for their incredible gastronomic tradition. We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this journey through the territory's most authentic flavours.
When booking, we will be able to choose between two different ways to enjoy this experience:
- Tasting only: the experience includes a guided tasting in a prosciutteria , which includes the tasting of cured meats (including Prosciutto di Parma) Parmigiano Reggiano, artisan bread and a glass of local wine.
- Visit + Tasting: in this case, the experience will begin at a family-run artisan ham factory . The owners will guide us through the processing and curing phases, concluding with a visit to the cellar. At the end of the tour, we will move (independently) to the delicatessen for tasting.
The experience will last a total of about 1. 5 hours for the option with a visit, or about 1 hour for the tasting only.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Underage participants will be offered a non-alcoholic drink in lieu of a glass of wine.

Attention! You must be self-drive for the experience, which includes a visit to the ham factory, or you can use your own means of transport.
