Full description
Climb aboard an off-road vehicle to travel through the wildest area of Sardinia!
You will depart from Arbatax to reach the village of Baunei and arrive at theGolgo Plateau. Along the way, there will be several stops to admire the most characteristic sites, such as the extraordinary Su Sterru, the deepest chasm in Europe.
These and many other attractions in a route of 90 km covered in 4 hours, with a local guide .
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU). We will set off in our off-road vehicle to discover the most authentic heart of pastoral and mountainous Sardinia .
The first point of interest on our route is the village of Baunei, which we will cross to take the wonderful panoramic road that will lead us to theGolgo Plateau. We will be in the Supramonte area: a lunar territory, were it not for the rich flora and fauna we will encounter!
Along the way, we will stop several times and get off the off-road vehicle to admire fascinating places such as the Su Sterru chasm: this is the deepest chasm in Europe, measuring 270 metres in depth. We will then visit the Church of San Pietro and also make a stop at the Stone Mask, a 10-metre rock face that, when observed from a certain point on the path, has the features of a human face sculpted by rain and wind.
The route back to the meeting point will also allow us to admire Pedra Longa, a 128-metre-high granite block overlooking the sea, from the off-road vehicle. We will cover 90 km together and spend four hours together.

The experience is not wheelchair accessible.

The excursion is scheduled in the months of May and November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants.
The experience takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
Dogs are not allowed to participate in this activity.
