Experience anoff-road excursion to Monte Nieddu, inland from San Teodoro!
A unique experience that will take you to the heart of Sardinia, where you will explore the wonderful natural pools and waterfalls of Rio Pitrisconi.

What we will do
The appointment will take place at the meeting point in Buddittogliu Straulas, a hamlet of San Teodoro (SS), 10 minutes before the selected time. Awaiting us will be our expert guide, ready to lead us to discover an undiscovered Sardinia!
The excursion will begin with a ride in a 4x4, Terrano 2 or Defender model, travelling for about 20 minutes along the ancient mule tracks once used by local charcoal burners and shepherds. On the way, we will immerse ourselves in the history of the area and discover the secrets hidden in these mountains.
Once we arrive at the Stazzu Pitrisconi, a typical Gallura dwelling, the tour will continue on foot for about 1 km: in about 10 to 15 minutes of walking we will reach the natural pools and waterfalls of Rio Pitrisconi, where it will be possible to take a break for a refreshing dip and take unforgettable photos in one of the most enchanting corners of the granite canyon.
We will then set off again by off-road vehicle to reach analtitude of around 615 metres, at the Vedetta Pala di Monti, from where there is a breathtaking view of the Gallura coastline. Here, the guide will show us the main islands and beaches of theTavolara Protected Marine Area, a true natural paradise.
At the end of the excursion, an aperitif will be served with typical local products, such as sausage, cheese, carasau bread and a good glass of Cannonau, for an authentic taste of Sardinian tradition.
The tour will last about four hours in total.

The activity is suitable for everyone, from the age of 3 and upwards, with a minimum of mountain walking experience.
The activity is not recommended for people with reduced mobility, wheelchair users and those who suffer from vertigo.
Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied.
