Full description
Do you need hiking boots and lungs of steel to see the Cinque Terre? Wrong. The best way to admire this paradise is lulled by the waves, with the wind in your hair and a glass of prosecco in your hand!
Set off from La Spezia for a boat trip to discover Portovenere and all the villages in the National Park. Between open bars, a light lunch (optional) and several swimming stops in the clear waters, you will experience a day of pure discovery and relaxation.
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before departure, at 10. 00, at the meeting point in La Spezia (SP). The skipper and hostess will welcome us aboard the 7. 5-metre boat ( up to 7 participants) . After a quick briefing on the safety equipment and amenities available, such as the fridge and shower, we’ll set sail for the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park.
We’ll start the day with breakfast (fruit juice and croissants) as we sail past the picturesque Portovenere, admiring Palmaria Island and the famous Byron’s Grotto. We’ll sail along the coast, stopping for a swim in the turquoise waters off Persico Beach and Punta Pineda.
We’ll then continue towards the villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola and Corniglia, stopping right in front of the villages to take some incredible photos whilst the guide tells us about the history of the area and interesting facts about the production of Sciacchetrà. Once we reach the vicinity of Vernazza, we’ll make another stop for a refreshing dip, using the snorkelling equipment provided.
At around 1. 00 pm , we’ll arrive in Monterosso for a one-hour stop on land, ideal for exploring the village. Those who prefer to stay on board can enjoy a light lunch of cold dishes such as couscous, cold cuts, focaccia and cheeses, whilst sipping chilled drinks from the open bar.
In the afternoon, we’ll set sail again towards Corniglia, where we’ll discover a picturesque sea cave before heading to the ‘Le Rosse’ area. During the final leg of the journey, we’ll relax with an aperitif of focaccia and prosecco, followed by a taste of the traditional Cinque Terre limoncello. We’ll admire the final panoramic views on the way back, enjoying the sun on the sun decks at the bow and stern.
We are due to return at around 5. 00 pm, after a total excursion time of approximately 7 hours .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from 1 year of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
The tour is not recommended for pregnant women.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a 7. 5-metre motorboat, equipped with a shaded area, shower and refrigerator.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
