If you are on holiday in Puglia you cannot miss one of the most characteristic tours, the one among the sea caves of Polignano a Mare: a true spectacle for the eyes!
Get ready to discover magnificent colours and landscapes and enjoy a1.5-hour boat trip along one of the most fascinating stretches of coastline in Puglia.
An experienced skipper will take you to hidden nooks and crannies where sun, sea and rocks come together in a perfect marriage. Get ready to board!
What we will do
We will set off from the small port of San Vito, in Polignano a Mare (BA). The skipper will welcome us on the motor boat and we will be ready to set off on a tour of Polignano's caves.
We will explore the Grotta Palazzese and the Grotte dell'Amore, among the most famous, but there will be no lack of stops at hidden spots where we can admire the fantastic play of light created by the sun's rays filtering through the rocks and meeting the sea.
We will pass by the Scoglio dell'Eremita and the statue of Domenico Modugno, a famous citizen of Polignano a Mare. We will stop several times to take a dipand snorkel inthese wonderful waters and, to finish, we will toast with prosecco and Apulian taralli.
The total duration of the excursion is 90 minutes, with a return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children from 0 to 3 years old participate free of charge, by notifying the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The tour is not accessible to those with walking difficulties.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to September, weather permitting.
The excursion takes place on board Fisherman 21 motor boats (6 m long and approved for 10 persons), equipped with sunshade, shower and ladder for entering the water. The organiser has 5 boats at its disposal. In the case of groups of more than 10 participants, the group will then be divided among several boats.
If you are unable to reach the starting point independently, after booking you can arrange a transfer service (to be paid separately).
