Did you know that Lord Byron loved these waters so much that he challenged the waves by swimming? You don't have to be a poet or an athlete to fall in love with this paradise: just join our boat tour to lose your head (and heart) for the Golfo dei Poeti.
Departing from La Spezia, you will experience a 3-hour excursion among the pearls of the Levante: from the majestic Portovenere to the enchanted village of Tellaro and the wild charm of the three islands. In the company of an experienced skipper, you will discover legendary caves and castles overlooking the sea.

What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in La Spezia (SP) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on the 10-seater boat. Having cast off the moorings, the navigation will immediately begin admiring the splendid Portovenere, with the Church of San Pietro overlooking the sea and the legendary Grotta Byron, named after the famous writer.
We will head towards the spectacular cliffs of Le Rosse, where we will make our first bathing stop of about 15-20 minutes. We will then head back out to sea to admire the outer side of the three islands (Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto) and then stop right in front of Tinetto for an unforgettable swim in the open sea. On the way, the skipper will delight us with an explanation of the area and its historical curiosities.
We will cross the gulf towards the eastern shore to discover the village of Tellaro and the paradisiacal beach of La Caletta, known as the "Thailand" of the Gulf, where we will make another stop to refresh ourselves. We will always have an open bar with water, soft drinks, beers or prosecco, and we can use the snorkelling equipment and floating noodles.
Before returning, we will pass by the majestic Lerici Castle, enjoying the last breathtaking view of the Ligurian coastline. This will be the perfect opportunity to take unique souvenir photos before returning to the starting point.
The activity will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from 2 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
The tour is not recommended for pregnant women.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; however, staff can support any passengers with mobility difficulties in boarding.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a 7. 5-metre anchor for up to 10 people, equipped with a 2 metre awning, shower and refrigerator. Snorkelling equipment is available on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
