Full description
Enjoy a boat excursion to the Island of Giglio, a small unspoilt pearl of the Tuscan Archipelago located off the coast ofArgentario.
The captain will take you to discover the island's beautiful beaches, fromArenella to Cala Smeraldo, with its emerald-green waters lapping the coastline. During the excursion you can dive from the boat and explore the seabed thanks to the snorkelling kits provided.
In the middle of the day, you can have lunch on board and, if the captain allows, go ashore to visit Giglio Castello, the island's medieval village with its imposing walls, towers, and the famous Rocca Albodrandesca. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will be in Porto Santo Stefano (GR), from where we will set sail at 9.30 am in the direction ofGiglio Island. After about 50 minutes of sailing, we will arrive at the island, known in the past as the "Island of the Goats" due to the presence of many friendly sheep.
Once at our destination, we will make our first swimming stop at Arenella. We will dive from the boat, immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the island and its irresistible charm.
We will then visit Cala Smeraldo, a small inlet on the eastern side of the island that owes its name to the emerald-green waters lapping the beach, surrounded by ochre-coloured granite cliffs and an expanse of prickly pears.
If conditions permit, we can visit Giglio Castello on foot, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy thanks to its medieval buildings.
In the middle of the day, we will stop for lunch on board (included) with a hot fish dish, freshly prepared. Sparkling and still water, white wine, red wine, Coke and orangeade will also be provided.
If weather conditions do not permit navigation along the east coast of the island, the boat will sail along the western side, passing through Cala dello Sparviero and Cala del Gesso and stopping at the Spiaggia del Campese in a beautiful bay framed by the 20-metre-high Faraglione rock.
Return to Porto Santo Stefano is scheduled for 17:00/17:30, after approximately 8 hours.

The tour runs from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boats available are between 10 and 12 metres long and can take up to 12 participants. All boats are modern and comfortable and are equipped with a cabin, WC, sunbathing area and a seating area in the shade.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
In case of food allergies and intolerances, please contact the staff in advance to request a dedicated menu. The option for vegetarians includes pasta with pesto sauce.
