Imagine boarding a boat from Giardini Naxos and sailing out to sea, where a special encounter with friendly dolphins awaits . These beautiful animals will greet you with their amazing leaps, offering you a natural spectacle of intelligence and grace under a sky tinged with bright colours at sunset.
As you cruise, you will be captivated by views of Mount Etna and historic Taormina, along with the greenIsola Bella Nature Reserve and other enchanting scenery along the coast.
And to make it all the more enjoyable, the captain will treat you to a Sicilian aperitif on board, where traditional flavours come together in a ballet of local delicacies. So, what are you waiting for?
What we will do
Our adventure begins in Giardini Naxos, where the captain will welcome us aboard a comfortable boat for an excursion along the picturesque Taormina coastline. The rendezvous will take place 30 minutes before the time selected during the booking process.
As we sail to the enchanting Isola Bella, we will pass historical and natural wonders, including the sculpture resembling the 'Nike of Samothrace', the Grotta del Giorno and the imposing Faraglioni rocks.
Isola Bella, with its Nature Reserve and crystal-clear waters, will be waiting for us for a refreshing stop (about 20 minutes): here we will have the opportunity to dive and swim or, for those who wish, do some snorkelling.
We will then continue on to the Blue Grotto, where the play of light creates a spectacle of colours. The return trip will be all about discovery as we sail through the bays of Mazzarò, San Nicola and Spisone, each with its own unique natural beauty.
But the most exciting moment will be when, at sunset, we will sail about half a mile away from the coast in search of dolphins. If we are lucky, we will be able to take some unforgettable photos as the sun sets on the horizon, painting the sky in a thousand colours.
During the return journey, the captain will enrich our trip with fascinating tales, local legends and an aperitif with Sicilian rusticos, liqueur or prosecco and almond pastries (aperitif included).
This approximately three-hour tour will end where it began, leaving us with unforgettable memories of Taormina.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children up to the age of 5 participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Theactual departure time could be advanced or delayed by 30 minutes depending on the sunset: the organisers will inform you a few days in advance.
The boat used is a 9-metre long and 3-metre wide motor launch, equipped with a sun canopy and sunbathing area. Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Paying parking spaces are available in the vicinity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
