Full description
Sea, nature and history are the undisputed stars of this boat excursion to Taormina, one of the most fascinating locations in eastern Sicily.
Discover the natural wonders and caves along the coast, dive into one of Italy's most astonishing seas with mask and fins and swim among the colourful seabed.
And if you were wondering who will be leading you on this experience, know that there is an expert captain waiting for you, who will also offer you a delicious aperitif of typical Sicilian liqueur to toast to sea life and all this wonderfulness.
What we will do
Departure is from the port of Giardini Naxos, where we will be welcomed by the captain. From here, we will board a comfortable boat and begin our tour along the coast of Taormina.
We will sail in the direction ofIsola Bella, admiring along the way historical buildings and natural cavities such as the Grotta del Giorno, illuminated by the sun's rays.
We will then approach Capo Taormina, an imposing promontory overlooking the Faraglioni of the same name, until we reach the unmissable Isola Bella. Here we will stop for a 20-minute swim and, for those who want to do some snorkelling, this is the ideal spot.
We will then set off towards the Grotta Azzurra, a sea cave with striking blue and bright red reflections that we can admire from the boat.
We will then turn around to return to the port, admiring the Bay of Mazzarò, the Bay of San Nicola and the Bay of Spisone. During the trip, the captain will also tell us about the curiosities and legends linked to these places, and offer us a typical Sicilian liqueur.
The activity lasts about two hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children up to the age of 5 participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.

The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Pleasenote: it is necessary to arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.
The boat used is a 9-metre long and 3-metre wide motor launch, equipped with a sun canopy and sunbathing area. Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
