Join us for anexciting canoe trip to discover the Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve, with aperitif included.
From Torrita Tiberina, a few km from Rome, you will board a Canadian canoe to spend two hours of sport and relaxation in unspoilt nature. In the company of a professional guide, you will paddle along the Tiber river in complete tranquillity until you reach a large warmly coloured lake.
You will also enjoy an aperitif of typical products on the water while enjoying the spectacle of the sunset.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torrita Tiberina (RM). On our arrival, we will be met by our guide, who will hand over the necessary equipment (included). We will then have a briefing on land, in which we will be given all the basics, including paddling technique. After some practice in the water, we will be ready to go!
We will set off in a Canadian canoe, a safe craft with which it is impossible to get wet, thanks to its comfortable raised seat and single side paddle. In the company of our guide, we will paddle for about an hour and a half along the Tiber river, moving slowly with the strength of our arms.
We will paddle up the river current in the heart of the Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve, among herons and marsh plants. We will then reach a bend resembling a large, warmly coloured lake, where we will enjoy an aperitif of local products served in the water by the guide, against the evocative backdrop of sunset.
The activity will last about 2 hours in total and will end with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children from 5 years of age. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult; unaccompanied children aged 14 and over may participate unaccompanied if they have signed authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.

The activity can be booked every weekend from April to October, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Each canoe can carry up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and a minor.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
