Have you ever wondered what happens when the Ionian and Adriatic seas decide to meet?
Spoiler: a spectacle of natural caves, reflections and legends is born that only those who sail can truly know! Get ready to discover the secrets of Santa Maria di Leuca on a voyage that crosses two coastlines and infinite colours.
You will set sail from Torre Vado for a 3-hour adventure guided by a skipper, ready to reveal every nook and cranny of this coastline. And since exploration whets your appetite, you won't miss a typical aperitif to toast in the middle of the sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE) . Here we will meet the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion and, after a quick briefing, we will be ready to cast off our moorings.
We will start sailing towards the Adriatic side, where we will admire the majestic Grotta della Vora and the light effects of the Grotta del Soffio. We will then move on to the Ionian side, where we will be fascinated by the shapes of the Grotta del Drago and the imposing entrance to the Grotta Tre Porte. The skipper will tell us local stories and curiosities related to each cavity we encounter along the way.
During the tour we will make two bathroom stops of about 20 minutes each. We can take the opportunity to do some snorkelling with the masks available on board and discover what lies beneath the surface.
To make the experience even more convivial, we will be served an aperitif on board based on traditional products, such as the classic Apulian taralli, accompanied by refreshing drinks. It will be the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves.
Finally, we will reverse course to return to the port of departure. The activity will last about three hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from June until October. The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The boat used is a 10-metre dinghy, equipped with awning for shade, cushions, stereo and shower. On board one stays without shoes to ensure maximum comfort and cleanliness.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
