Private gozzo tour of the Cinque Terre

Obelix and the waves of the Ligurian Sea washing the Cinque Terre await you for an exclusive experience. Who is Obelix? The gozzo that will take you to visit the coastal villages from an unusual point of view in a setting dedicated just to you and your company.

Listen to the stories of these lands and the biodiversity of the Protected Marine Area of the Cinque Terre, but above all take your mask and dive fearlessly into one of the coves between Corniglia and Vernazza. Here you can dive to admire the incredible variety of fish that inhabit the seabed.

And if you can't resist some goodies, you will also find appetising finger food on board!

What we will do

The tour will start in Manarola, at the time selected during the booking process. Here we will get to know the skipper and board the gozzo Obelix, now at our complete disposal. We will be lulled by the waves as we sail along the Cinque Terre coastline.

We are in one of Italy's most famous postcards and also a Protected Marine Area: we will have the skipper tell us all the stories and anecdotes about these enchanting waters.

Down the coast we will be able to admire the five villages that rise up on the slopes and, when we arrive between Corniglia and Vernazza, two of the most picturesque, we will try a lesser-known cove for a 20-minute swim.

We can dive into the water and swim, but if we want to go down and look at the bottom more closely, we can take our snorkelling mask and go and observe the fish that inhabit the seabed.

Time to head back up and return to Manarola, but not before a cool drink and, above all, a selection of finger food to recharge our batteries and experience the essence of all-Ligurian goodness on board our gozzo.

The activity has a suggested duration of 2½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 2 participate free of charge.

The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs and people with walking difficulties.

Other information

The excursion runs from April to October and is aimed at private groups of up to 12 participants.

The tour can be varied depending on weather conditions and customer requirements.

The boat is called Obelix, a 9-metre gozzo with a shower, cushions, 12 cabin seats and a fridge to keep drinks cool. It does not, however, have a bathroom, so it is advisable to go to the toilet before embarking. Food and drinks can be brought on board.
