What more romantic moment than sunset to join our boat tour to discover the Cinque Terre?
Set off from Levanto aboard a typical gozzo and get ready to admire Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore in the warm colours of sunset.
And as the sun sets on the horizon, don't miss a dip in the blue waters and a delicious aperitif with typical products. A toast to the heart of Liguria!
What we will do
Departure is shortly before sunset from the pier in Levanto, in the province of La Spezia. After a welcome from the skipper, we will board a typical Ligurian gozzo that can carry up to 9 people.
We will begin a leisurely cruise along the coast to admire the enchanting views of the Cinque Terre up close. The first wonder we will encounter will be Monterosso al Mare, the largest village in the Cinque Terre.
We will then admire Vernazza, with its colourful houses and characteristic harbour before arriving at Corniglia, the village perched on a rocky promontory, and Manarola, with its lush vineyards. On the way we will make a few brief stops to take photos and videos, while the guide accompanying us will tell us anecdotes and curiosities about the places we will see.
The last village we will visit is Riomaggiore, where we will stop for about half an hour for a refreshing swim, followed by an aperitif with typical products (Ligurian focaccia with pesto, savoury and vegetable pies...) accompanied by wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks. As the sun sets and paints the sky in orange colours, we will toast together immersed in the magic of this moment.
Having turned back, we will return to our starting point in Levanto after about three hours of hiking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 3 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but is accessible for those with walking difficulties.
Other information
The excursion takes place every day from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The boat is a typical 8.5-metre long Ligurian gozzo, equipped with a shower, toilet, cabin, sundeck and shaded area at the stern. Beach towels and snorkelling masks are available for participants on board.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport. There is also a car park on site for a fee.
