Looking for an 'original' sunset drink idea? You just have to book our gozzo tour with dolphin spotting!
Not only will you sail with a skipper to discover the most scenic natural attractions of the Taormina coastline, which are even more impressive at sunset. You will also venture into the Strait of Messina, in search of these cute mammals.
A memorable experience lasting 2½ hours, to which you will toast with a Sicilian aperitif on board.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 20 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Giardini Naxos (ME). I am your skipper and I will welcome you on board my characteristic wooden gozzo!
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will set sail into the Bay of Naxos and venture towards Capo Taormina and the Grotta degli Innamorati. We will then enter the splendid natural setting of the Isola Bella Marine Reserve, sailing between the Faraglione and the Scoglio del Fico d'India. We will then reach the Grotta Azzurra and sail to Mazzarò; all under the suggestive light of sunset.
A bathing stop is planned during the navigation; in the meantime, an aperitif (included) will be served on board based on Sicilian rotisserie delicacies accompanied by a glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic wine.
Chasing Mount Etna on the horizon, we will then go in search of dolphins: we will venture into the Strait of Messina or the best spot of the day for sightings and await the greeting of these friendly mammals!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 need not be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0-4 years participate free of charge; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible but is accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
This excursion is suitable for pregnant women.

The experience takes place from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The excursion takes place subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
Theboat is a 10-metre-long wooden gozzo, equipped with a sun deck at the bow, a small beach at the stern, an awning, a shower, a climbing ladder and a toilet.
It is preferable to remain barefoot on board and to hand in one's shoes at the embarkation point.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
