Full description
Join us for a wonderful one-day private boat tour to discover the Golfo dei Poeti and the Cinque Terre.
We will be on board a gozzo, at the helm of which will be Captain Gerry, who will take us to discover the most picturesque villages of the Riviera di Levante, such as Portovenere, the islets of the archipelago of the Porto Venere Natural Park and the colourful villages of the Cinque Terre.
We can take refreshing swims and dives or relax on board lulled by the waves while admiring the wonderful landscape around us. A tasty aperitif will not be missing to delight the palate. Based on what? Ligurian focaccia, of course!
What we will do
We will meet at the time agreed at the time of booking in La Spezia (SP). We will board the gozzo Vittoria and after due introductions we will be ready to set sail on our private tour. From now on, you can call me Captain Gerry!
Shortly after we leave the harbour we will already see Portovenere, a colourful fishing village that inspired the English poet Lord Byron. Right here there is a grotto carved out of the sea that is named after him, and right in front of Byron's Grotto we can take a relaxing swim lulled by the waves.
Then we will re-board the boat and head for the Rocce Rosse cove, where we will have time to dive in and take a swim. Here we will make a stop to enjoy a tasty aperitif (included) including focaccia from Liguria and a pasta dish cooked on board, to be accompanied by wine and soft drinks.
We will then resume navigation to reach the Cinque Terre, stopping for another swim between Corniglia and Vernazza. From here, if weather and sea conditions permit, we will continue on to Monterosso al Mare, admiring colourful postcard-perfect scenery, and then turn back. Another option could be the Natural Park Archipelago of Portovenere, Tino, Tinetto and Palmaria, for many dives and baths in the transparent waters.
Finally, we will sail past Lerici, where we can enjoy one last dive before returning to the starting point.
The excursion has a total duration of about 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. To participate, you must be able to swim and have good mobility. It is not possible to bring wheelchairs on board.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is aimed at private groups of up to 12 participants.
The boat available for the tour is a 9-metre-long gozzo, named Vittoria , which can accommodate up to 12 people. It is equipped with an awning, refrigerator, freshwater shower and stereo.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
