Full description
Whether it is winter, autumn, spring or summer, venturing around the Tuscan Maremma on a quad bike is always a good idea!
On board a vehicle that is a cross between a motorbike and an off-road vehicle, safe and not at all difficult to drive, you will have the opportunity to test your skills as a rider among dirt tracks and roads surrounded by lush nature dominated by the Mediterranean maquis.
Along the way you will admire breathtaking scenery, smell the fragrances of nature and at the end, to recover your energy, you will take a tasty break in the woods with sausage, cheese, bread and wine. What are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
Themeeting is in Scarlino, a municipality in the province of Grosseto. We will be welcomed by a guide who will teach us the basic principles of driving a quad bike safely and briefly illustrate the route we will be taking. We will also take a test ride in the woods to get familiar with the vehicle.
Once this first phase is over, we will begin the tour proper, crossing an asphalted stretch to reach Pian di Palma and arrive at Bandite di Scarlino, a mostly hilly area covering no less than 6,000 hectares. We will thus travel along dirt tracks enveloped in beautiful Mediterranean scrub, see breathtaking landscapes and unique natural scenery. An explosion of colours and scents.
At the end, before returning to the starting point, we will stop at a picnic area in the forest for a small barbecue of sausage accompanied by bread, cheese and wine.
The hike takes a total of two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is easy and suitable for ages 8 and up.
To ride the quad bike, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid B licence.

Pleasenote: arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
The activity is available from mid-November to the end of March only in the mornings and from April to October both in the mornings and afternoons.
The facility has 5 quads, for a total of 10 participants.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but free parking spaces are available nearby.
