Lake Como is not just a picture postcard, Lake Como is above all Adventure, Nature, Sport!
Join an exciting 3-hour kayaking experience, exploring historic villas, secret gardens, and breathtaking landscapes.
From Blevio, under the guidance ofinstructor Sara, you will paddle towards the picturesque village of Torno, discovering the lake in a completely new and fascinating light!
What we will do
Wewill meet in Blevio, a picturesque village on Lake Como. Here we will meet theinstructor Sara who, after introductions, will assign us the most suitable kayak, paddle and life jacket .
If this is our first time kayaking, Sara will show us how to paddle, the correct position and how to handle any emergency situations. Don't worry: the kayak is very stable and it is very difficult to tip over. After about 30 minutes of briefing, we will put the kayaks in the water and start the tour.
Depending on the pace and ability of the group, we will head to Torno, another beautiful lakeside village. Along the way, we will hear stories and curiosities about the villas we will admire, such as Villa Pizzo and Villa d'Este.
There will also be moments to take photos and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Once we arrive in Torno, it will be time to return to our starting point, again staying on the coast.
We will return to Blevio after about 2 hours spent on board the kayak. Here, after getting out of the water and returning the kayaks to their seats, we will be able to exchange impressions and say goodbye, thus concluding our paddling on the waters of Lake Como.
Between briefing, preparation and kayak tour, the activity lasts a total of about three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone aged 14 and over. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Itis not necessary to know how to swim, just to be comfortable with water.
Other information
The activity runs from the end of May to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Individual kayaks are available.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There are two changing rooms and lockers for storing personal belongings on the premises.
Itis not possible to bring dogs for this activity.
Photos and videos can be taken during the excursion.
