At Porto Selvaggio, in the heart of Salento, a kayaking adventure awaits you as you discover one of the most fascinating stretches of coastline in Italy!
In the company of an expert guide, you will paddle through marvellous natural caves and places steeped in history while listening to tales of bygone eras.
And just when you think you have seen it all... a stop at a natural spring will make the experience even more magical!
What we will do
We will meet in Nardò (LE), at the time selected when booking. Our guide will welcome us with a briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules. After settling into our kayaks, we will set off on our adventure!
We will paddle along an approximately 7-km route to discover the beautiful coastline of Porto Selvaggio. Along the way, we will admire the majestic Torre dell'Alto, an ancient watchtower dominating the seascape.
We will enter the fascinating Grotta Verde, two natural wonders set among the cliffs. We will also observe from the outside the famous Grotta del Cavallo, a site of great historical and archaeological value.
Arriving at the bay of Porto Selvaggio, we will take a relaxing break to refresh ourselves in the natural springs and, for those who wish, enjoy a coffee or an ice cream by the sea.
After recharging our batteries, we will return to our starting point in Nardò, for a total of about three hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 3. Children under 100 cm and 20 kg participate in the excursion free of charge, but must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Swimming ability is necessary.
The weight per participant must not exceed 100 kg.
Other information
The tour can be booked from June to September.
The facility has around 40 kayaks between single and double kayaks. The double kayaks can carry up to two adults and a child under 20 kg.
It is possible to participate with your own dog.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
