Get ready for a kayaking adventure in Salento among mysterious caves and ancient ruins emerging from the water.
In about 3 hours you will explore the spectacular coastline of Roca Vecchia with an expert guide ready to reveal curiosities, local legends, and stories of pirates and fishermen who have sailed these waters before you.

What we will do
The meeting is at the time selected during the booking process in Melendugno (LE). Upon arrival, the guide will welcome us and give a briefing on paddling techniques and safety. Afterwards, we will be ready to begin our kayak excursion.
We will start by exploring the coastal area of Roca Vecchia, famous for its archaeological site, which we will admire from the kayak, passing historical remains and ancient walls.
We will paddle along a6.5 km route, visiting some hidden gems such as the Grotta dello Speziale, the suggestive Grotta dello Zingaro and the mysterious Grotta delle Monache. Each of these caves hides fascinating stories that our guide will share with us, enriching our adventure with tales and anecdotes.
Along the way we will stop for about 20-30 minutes in a quiet cove sheltered from the currents, ideal for a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Salento, far from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded beaches.
Finally, if sea conditions permit, we will go as far as the Grotta delle Due Porte before returning to the starting point.
The experience lasts a total of about three hours.
Who it is aimed at
Attention! 1 child less than 100 cm tall and weighing less than 20 kg participates free of charge in a double canoe together with 2 accompanying adults. The ratio must be 2 adults to 1 child.
The experience is suitable from 3 years of age.
Swimming skills are required to participate.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.

The experience takes place from June to September.
The organiser has around 40 kayaks between single and double kayaks assigned at the guide's discretion.
There are changing rooms with showers and toilets on site; there is no secure storage for valuables.
Dogs are allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
