If you're imagining a horseback ride in a kayak, it's time to put down the glass.
Spend a day of adventure with our super-combo kayak tour and horseback ride: first you'll paddle to discover the Salento coastline, then you'll ride through the characteristic Mediterranean vegetation. Together with you, a team of local guides ready to accompany you on your adventure!
And the aperitif we won't give up (despite your vivid imagination).
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 09:30 at the meeting point in Conchiglie-Alto Lido, in the municipality of Gallipoli (LE). Awaiting us will be the kayak tour guide who will accompany us on this (first) adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, a briefing will take place during which the guide will provide all the useful information for a carefree experience. This moment will last about 20 minutes. And here we are ready for our kayak excursion! Depending on the best weather conditions of the day, we will either paddle to the rocky stretch between Quattro Colonne and Montagna Spaccata or to the sandy stretch of Gallipoli. We will paddle to discover the Salento coastline, even pushing out to sea to experience theunique thrill of being surrounded by blue!
The kayak tour will last approximately 2 hours and will end at the meeting point. We will then have some free time at our disposal, before heading to the meeting point for the next experience; an autonomous transfer of about 15 km is required to reach it.
The meeting point is at 13:00 at the meeting point in Nardò (LE). Awaiting us will be the horseback riding guide who will accompany us on this (second) adventure! Having gathered all the participants, we will be welcomed with an aperitif of local baked goods, accompanied by a non-alcoholic drink. We will then have some free time at our disposal, before starting the horseback ride at approximately 16:00.
We will then hand over the equipment, mount the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding; this will last approximately 10 minutes. And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, riding through the Salento vegetation. Along the way, we may also encounter some characteristic farmhouses!
The horseback ride will last about 2 hours and will end at the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
No fear of water is required to participate.
The experience is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time kayakers and horse riders.

Attention! The experience requires independent travel.
The experience takes place from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
Clothing requirements must be met in order to participate in the activity. If these are not met, the experience may not take place and may not be reimbursed at the guide's discretion. There is an outdoor toilet at the riding school where you can change.
Small dogs are allowed. During the kayak excursion, they may participate in a double kayak; during the horseback riding excursion, they may remain in a dedicated box. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.
The kayak tour organiser has single sit-in kayaks and double sit-on-top kayaks available. Assignment will be at the guide's discretion.
Free parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
