Full description
Step aboard a typical Sorrentine boat and embark on a 4-hour boat tour along the Posillipo coastline. An exclusive experience to discover the most fascinating places in the area, from the underwater park of Gaiola to the Palazzo degli Spiriti.
Setting sail from Marechiaro with an experienced skipper, you will enjoy the suggestive panorama and a refreshing swim in the sea in the area's most beautiful coves in complete tranquillity.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the small port of Marechiaro, in the province of Naples. Here the skipper will welcome us and, after introductions, we will board our Sorrentine lance and set off in the direction of the Gaiola Underwater Park.
Continuing our navigation, we will find the remains of a Roman building called the Palace of the Spirits, known as Virgil's Villa. We will then sail along the three minor islands of Naples, including theisland of Gaiola. We will admire from the sea the ruins of the 'School of Virgil' and the grandiose natural amphitheatre of Trentaremi, an impressive sight due to the sheer size and height of the yellow tufa walls overlooking the sea.
We will skirt the cove of Maist and, past the tip of Cape Posillipo, discover a delightful corner called Rivafiorita: here fans of the soap-opera "Un posto al sole" may recognise the 17th-century fortress. A few metres away we will then find the magnificent Cenito inlet, Villa Gallotti and Villa Lauro.
On the way, you can also admire Palazzo Donn'Anna and the famous Fenestella di Marechiaro. At least two bathroom stops lasting about 30-40 minutes each are planned. Since this is a private tour, we can express our preferences to the skipper.
Before returning to Marechiaro, we will be offered an aperitif on board with prosecco, taralli and chips.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 4½ hours.

The activity takes place from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 people.

The boat is a mahogany Sorrentine Lance with sundeck, awning, console with helm and stereo.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
