Full description
Book a boat reserved just for you and enjoy 2 hours of sailing to discover the coastline between Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, with its magnificent caves.
You will stop at the most suggestive cave of all, Grotta Palazzese, and have the chance to take a dip in this magical setting. Afterwards, you will enjoy an aperitif with typical Apulian focaccia and a glass of prosecco.
Another stop will be the beach of Lama Monachile with its cliffs, from which the brave Red Bull Cliff Diving champions dive. Throughout the navigation, the skipper will reveal many curiosities about these extraordinary places.
What we will do
We will meet at the pier in Monopoli, right in the shadow of the Castle of Charles V. Here the boat will be waiting for us and will accompany us on our private tour.
After taking a seat on board, we will depart for Polignano a Mare, following the beautiful coastline characterised by watchtowers, picturesque coves and cliffs sculpted by wind and water. The excursion will focus in particular on the many caves that characterise the Polignano area.
We will stop at one of the most enchanting places, the famous Grotta Palazzese. This is an enormous cavern that penetrates up to 80 metres into the cliff and is accessed through two large vaulted openings. Inside, you cannot fail to be amazed by the play of light that renders the water an iridescent colour, from green to turquoise to blue. The biggest surprise, however, are the restaurant tables positioned on a terrace suspended between the rocky vault and the sea.
The boat will stop right in front of the cave for a 15-minute bathing stop. We can then dive off the boat and take a swim in a corner of the sea that has no equal in the world. Back on board, we will enjoy a typical aperitif with focaccia and a glass of prosecco.
After the aperitif, we will resume sailing towards the beach of Lama Monachile to admire it from the sea. The skipper will tell us many interesting facts and point out the most beautiful spots, such as the cliff from which the Red Bull Cliff Div ing champions dive every year and the statue in honour of Polignano's most illustrious citizen: Domenico Modugno.
Once our two-hour tour is complete, the boat will return to the starting point in Monopoli.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The excursion is available from April to October every day, weather permitting, and is reserved for private groups of up to 4 participants.
Themotor boat is 6.5 metres long and is equipped with a sun canopy, a freshwater shower, a ladder for getting back on board after swimming and life jackets.
It is not possible to adapt the aperitif for participants with food intolerances or allergies.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
